One day closer to digital freedom

The workshop for more privacy on your PC and smartphone.

Which operating systems are particularly suitable for your devices and are easy to use? How do you make the switch and which applications are available? Roll up your sleeves, bring your laptop and let's get started. In just one day, you'll find out how suitable Linux and Google-free smartphones are for everyday use.

A large part of this workshop is geared towards practice, you can try out LibertyDrive and LibertyPhone yourself on this day. Together we will look at the Linux user interface and applications for office, mail, web, games and messengers on LibertyDrive.

If you already have your own LibertyDrive or LibertyPhone, you can bring it with you, get help configuring it and put what you have learned into practice straight away. As a participant, 50% of the workshop fee will be credited towards the purchase of a LibertyDrive or LibertyPhone.

    Get ready

    This is what you should bring along

      The motivation
      to learn something new and normal PC skills. Don't worry, it won't be complicated.

      Your laptop

      Built in 2015 or later with a USB 3.0 port (Intel/AMD dual-core processor with at least 4 GB of RAM) or a MacBook from 2012–2015.

      Hardware requirements

      Please also bring a charging cable!

      Optional
      your USB backup drive on which you have previously saved the files stored on your laptop. Please back up your files to an external drive or cloud storage before the workshop!
